Crossfire being deployed on worlds first MIMO enabled Metro System
The complete system for MRT Line 1 comprises seven (7) underground stations, twenty (20) kilometres of underground tunnel and multiple enclosed noise barriers on the elevated sections of the rail line. This will be the world’s most advanced MIMO-compliant DAS with dual band TD-LTE integrated with multiband 2G, 3G and FD-LTE. The GSM, WCDMA, FD-LTE and TD-LTE are shared across six bands of spectrum supported by seven (7) independent mobile operators, setting new benchmarks in DAS infrastructure.

First UK Deployment of Crossfire Digital DAS
A 10 storey Grade II listed building, Chartered Accountants’ Hall, which has been home for ICAEW in the city since the 19th century has poor mobile phone coverage throughout the Victorian parts of the complex due to the extremely thick walls and ornate decorative ceilings and fixtures. The Crossfire indoor system now provides coverage to the majority of Chartered Accountants Hall with the remainder to be added once modernisation works are completed later this year. The 3G Crossfire solution can also be easily upgraded to support 4G services when ICAEW reviews its future communication requirements with its corporate partner, EE.

CrossFire HP system deployed at Cairns Hospital, Australia The deployment of a Third-Party funded DAS system in the new Cairns Base Hospital in northern Australia has given the mobile carriers a platform for the future. With 6 bands of technology supporting 2G, 3G & 4G on a single platform with 1 core of optical fibre, the CrossFire solution is the most advanced DAS system in use today. This deployment is the beginning of a new generation of Digital DAS deployments in Australia. |

Sunwave R&D has released the new CrossFire iBDA system
The new CrossFire iBDA system has finished development and will be submitted to Telstra for lab testing. Telstra requested an Integrated BDA configuration of CrossFire supporting 2x2 MIMO in a 700/1800 Carrier Aggregation setup. The standard CrossFire AU chassis has been used with the normal Duplex modules replaced with Off-Air Repeater modules in each of the four channels on the AU chassis. This new iBDA system will support connection of Off-Air signals directly into the CrossFire LP and HP platforms.
